Can't deny it's a cool bike, but I hate trek. I work at a bike shop that's a trek dealer, and their prices are super high for the part spec's (i.e. bontrager), I mean for 7000 there should only be the best names on the parts. I'd rather have a GT Fury any day over the 88.

looks like a reinvention of the wheel, or single pivot, in this case...

I say it looks like it's made of wet noodles... probably performs great but I'm not too keen on the looks I guess.

Well that's how it is in motocross, so maybe he does moto as well. Also, it seems to be the norm in Europe.

everyone's complaining about all the berm shots... well I'd say this is the best one of the past few. I like the colors in this a lot, all the browns give it a really earthy feel. Also, yellow hubs with the yellow hoops = pretty hot.

Great pic, it's too bad you didn't get the whole rider in that one... still sweet though.

Pro riders should wear helmets, because regardless of whether they like it not, they're role models for the youth of the sport...

Great pic btw, what an amazing trip these guys must have had.

Sketchy? Did you not read the part in the article about riders using this bike in competitive races? Any competitive race is rough on a bike, and after all that down tube is stainless steel, not aluminum, and the down tub doesn't really get that much force applied to it compared to the chain stay, seat stay and seat tube. This bike is all about the advanced engineering of our sport, and that kind of stuff is always met with "sketchy" at first.

His front wheel must have juuuust cleared the landing, nice.

I've always been a fan of the front flip honestly... pod tomorrow: double front flip.
